I have finally (Oct. 2013), after three years of hard work, finished writing A Fortiori Logic: Innovations, History and Assessments, a book devoted mainly to the a fortiori argument and related topics. This is a large book, which includes some interesting theoretical innovations and historical findings, as well as critical commentaries on the work of many other writers in the field.
This book is now available in Lulu.com in hardcover ($50), paperback ($30) and eBook ($7) editions. It can also be found in many other venues, such as Ipad, Nook, and Sony readers (to name but three), and in Kindle.
After publishing A Fortiori Logic, I produced a new book called Logical Philosophy: A Compendium.
This volume brings together five works by me published in 2002-06, namely: Phenomenology (2003), Volition and Allied Causal Concepts (2004), Meditations (2006), Ruminations (2005), and Buddhist Illogic (2002). These works together define what may be termed ‘Logical Philosophy’, i.e. philosophical discourse distinguished by its steadfast reliance on inductive and deductive logic to resolve epistemological and ontological issues. Note that the works are placed in a logical rather than chronological order. This collection does not include work done on The Logic of Causation in the same period (published in 2003, 2005).
This book, too, is now available in Lulu.com in hardcover ($50), paperback ($30) and eBook ($7) editions. It can also be found in many other venues, such as Ipad, Nook, and Sony readers (to name but three), and in Kindle.
